I was lucky to travel to Iceland in the European Summer of 2018 ( It didn’t get above 18 degrees though! )
Not knowing what to expect I hired a camper van and travelled from Reykjavik around the “Golden Circle”, down through the Geo-Thermal parks of the south and south-east.
It was absolutely amazing! Every turn on the road and every location presented so many breathtaking views.
I have vowed to return someday to see the rest of the country.
